Not for sale!

„Rickenbacker 1997 Rose Morris“ in the colour Fireglo year of manufacture 1987 incl. original case.

The instrument pictured here is offered!

Special feature:
Rickenbacker Model 1997 which was reissued by Rickenbacker from the end of 1986 until 2001.

In the 1960s, the English distributor RoseMorris ordered Rickenbacker instruments with an F-hole instead of the Cateye sound hole, of which quite a few were made. So the instruments also got other product names in England. The model 330s or 335s became the model 1997. Pete Townsend of The Who in particular made these instruments with the F-hole famous.

This is a very early reissue model. It is characterised by a somewhat narrower F-hole, the later as well as the 60s Rose Morris models had a somewhat larger F-hole.

The toaster pickups are a few millimetres flatter than the toasters of the 60s as well as the later toaster reissues.

Tom Petty played one of these very early Reissues on stage, equipped with a gold pickguard as well as a gold TrussRod cover. So this model from RockWall Guitars has also received these golden components.

The grain of this specimen is breathtaking, the pictures can only partially depict this.
