The construction of the body is particularly noteworthy: This guitar features what is known as “X-bracing” on the inside. Modern Rickenbacker instruments have a “sustain block”; see the images on our website. (Left: X-bracing; right: sustain block)
Thanks to the X-bracing, the guitar is significantly louder when played unamplified than instruments with a sustain block.
The screws and the bridge used are also modeled after the original from the 1960s.
The pickups are Rickenbacker Toasters that were factory-installed. The neck position features a short-pole Anilco Toaster, and the bridge position features a long-pole Anilco Toaster.
The guitar plays very well and has fantastic string action.
About the condition:
The instrument is used, but in almost new condition.
There areno signs of wear on the instrument, such as scratches or chips in the finish. Only the pickguard shows minimal signs of use.
The original truss rods work perfectly.
All of the electronics are untouched and original, just as the guitar left the factory.
