Special feature:
In the early to mid-1970s, the Rickenbacker company was undergoing a period of transition, and as a result, there were several changes to Rickenbacker instruments; in particular, the number of frets and the pickups used changed during this time.
This Rickenbacker was equipped with 24 frets and Rickenbacker HighGain pickups. In addition, the body featured what is known as X-bracing, rather than a sustain block.
The guitar is exceptionally easy to play and has fantastic string action. It’s a great instrument that also delivers a fantastic sound, thanks to the Rickenbacker HighGain pickups, which sound quite different from modern ones.
