"Rickenbacker 360-12 CW Carl Wilson" In the color Fireglo, built in 2001, including the original Rickenbacker case and certificate.
Special feature:
Very few of these Rickebacker 360-12CW Carl Wilson Signature guitars were ever made. 250 were built as 6-string models, and another 250 were built as 12-string models.
The Carl Wilson 360-12CW stands out for its unique features, which were available in this specific combination only on this model:
– At Carl Wilson's request, this model was equipped with a thinner top and back, just as was the case in the 1960s. The top is 5 mm thick.
– Thanks to its thinner top, this guitar is lighter than any other Rickenbacker 360 model: this one weighs just 3 kg. By comparison, a standard Rickenbacker 360 weighs around 3.5 kg.
– Just like in the 1960s, the guitar was fitted with checkerboard binding, a feature reserved exclusively for Rickenbacker's top-of-the-line models.
– This guitar is made from beautiful, figured maple.
By the way:
We currently also have a 6-string version of this guitar in stock.
Regarding the condition of the Rickenbacker:
The instrument is used.
There are only slight polishing marks on the entire instrument.
The original TrussRods work perfectly.
All of the electronics are untouched and original, just as the guitar was when it left the Rickenbacker factory.
D
The frets show very, very light wear—a 9.5 out of 10, with 10 being like new.
