“Rickenbacker 230 GF Glenn Frey 1992,” includingcase and certificate.
The instrument shown here is available for sale!
Special feature:
Very few of the Rickenbacker 230GF—which is, strictly speaking, a Model 220—were ever built.
A total of 1,000 units of the 230GF and 2030GF models were originally planned to be built. However, due to low demand, production was discontinued—something that has never happened with any other Rickenbacker Signature series. In fact, only 239 of the originally planned 1,000 guitars and basses were built. This makes it the Rickenbacker Signature model with the lowest production run, with the exception of the Rickenbacker Lemmy Kilmister Signature Bass.
Both the Rickenbacker and the fingerboard were made entirely of maple; the fingerboard was finished in black.
This instrument is a great player with excellent string action and, to top it all off, delivers a fantastic sound.
