Used, very well-preserved, and unmodified "Rickenbacker 2030GF Glenn Frey" in Jetglo color, built in 1992, including original Rickenbacker case and new certificate.
special feature
Very few Rickenbacker 2030GF guitars, which are actually a 2020 model, were ever made.
A total of 1,000 units of the 230GF + 2030GF model were to be built. However, due to low demand, production was discontinued, which has never happened with any other Rickenbacker signature series. In fact, only 239 of the original 1,000 guitars and basses were built.
Peter D. Boyer writes in his
Rickenbacker bass guitar of which "less than 100" were built.
The bass and the fingerboard are made entirely of maple. The fingerboard has been lacquered black.
Regarding the condition of the Rickenbacker:
There are only slight polishing marks on the entire instrument. The black finish on the bridge is slightly discolored, which can be clearly seen in the pictures.
The original truss rods are unmodified and function perfectly.
All of the electronics are untouched and original, just as the guitar left the Rickenbacker factory.
The frets are very easy to play, 9.5 out of 10, with 10 being brand new.
Accessories:
The original Rickenbacker case is included and shows signs of wear.
The case also comes with a key, the original Rickenbacker instruction manual, and an original Rickenbacker cleaning cloth.
A new certificate issued by Rickenbacker confirming authenticity is also included in the scope of delivery.
