The body dimensions are nearly identical to those of a “Framus 5-51 Studio,” but there’s a world of difference between the build quality of the two models—not only in terms of sound but also in terms of playability.
Both the exterior and interior of the guitar are clean and perfectly crafted. This model is very loud, with exceptionally good sound projection. The narrow neck—which is just as wide as a Rickenbacker—plays flawlessly with a low string action.
The neck doesn't have any truss rods installed, yet it's perfectly straight. The frets are also perfectly leveled.
Regarding the condition:
The guitar has apparently been stored in a very well-protected environment over the past 50 years; it's practically like new. The finish hasn't faded, and everything looks brand new. There's a small blemish on the side—see photos—and it has the typical age-related cracks in the finish.
Otherwise, it's like new—no cracks or loose glue spots. It currently has new ErniBall Bronze strings installed.
