Special feature:
This is the 766 of 1000 Rickenbacker 660/12 TP Limited Editions ever built.
Body and neck are really made of stunning bird’s eye maple. The accompanying photos can only reflect this very partially.
The front body binding is the exclusive „Checkerboardbinding“, which is only reserved for the top models of Rickenbacker instruments.
The Rickenbacker 660 has a wider fingerboard than all other Rickenbacker models (except the 650, 1993+), which makes it much more pleasant to play, especially on a 12-string guitar.
This wide fingerboard was made according to Tom Petty’s ideas.
Furthermore, this guitar is one of the few Rickenbacker guitars with a 12-piece bridge, i.e. you can adjust the intonation for each of the 12 strings separately. Generally speaking, a 6-piece bridge is installed on 12-string Rickenbacker guitars.
The sound of this guitar is what you would expect from a 12-string Rickenbacker with toasters. Jinge-Jangle at it’s best.
To the condition:
The instrument is used.
There are only minimal signs of use on the entire instrument. There is a small scratch here and there.
The original TrussRods work perfectly.
All electronics are untouched and original, just as the guitar left the factory.

The frets show minimal signs of play.

The case is included and shows slight signs of use.
Furthermore, a key is included with the case and also the original Rickenbacker instruction manual and an original Rickenbacker care cloth.
