Special feature:
The new 5-string from Rickenbacker comes with the new triangular Singe Coil pickups.
The body is made of walnut, the neck of maple with an integrated walnut strip. The entire instrument was only oiled by Rickenbacker and not varnished.
Due to the lack of lacquer on the instrument, it is much louder and more resonant than comparable Rickenbacker instruments with lacquer.
Like all modern 4003s, this bass has a push-pull potentiometer. When this is activated, the vintage circuit of the bass is activated.
