Gretsch 6120 Chet Atkins Nashville
Can be seen in the Roxette video "How do you do", "Real Sugar", "Almost Unreal".

Per Gessle's guitar is a Gretsch 6120 Chet Atkins Nashville that was built in this configuration between 1962 and 1966.

From the 1967 models onwards, the orange color changes to a very strong red after a few years. In addition, the headstock of the guitar was changed from 1967 onwards, with a horseshoe inlay from 1962 to 1966. From 1967 onwards, you can only see a "golden plate" mounted on it with the inscription "Chet Atkins Nashville Model".

Gretsch 7595 White Falcon
You can see "The big L.", "Spending my time" and "Almost Unreal" in the Roxette video.

Per Gessle's White Falcon must have been built between 1974 and early 1978, because during this time the 7595 White Falcon had some unique features:

  • Two volume controls and 6 selectors, which were later changed to 5 selectors in 1978 (the switch above the Bigsby was then missing)
  • A 6-saddle bridge (from 1971 to 1973 it was a roller bridge).
  • NO metal plate on the headstock, 21 frets plus zero fret, pad on the back of the body
  • Bigsby in B6 style (from 1979 the "Bigsby B12 Vibrato" was used).

Gibson ES-345 Black

The ES-345 (stereo version with stop tailpiece and six-position tone selector switch) is a guitar based on the ES-335, which differs only minimally in detail from the ES-335. Stereo here means that the neck and bridge pickup signals are fed out via separate cable sockets with two instrument cables or with a so-called "Y-cable". This allows each pickup to be played through a separate amplifier. The ES-345 was first produced in 1958 as an upscale version of the ES-335. The ES-345 was discontinued in 1981, one year after the launch of the Gibson "Lucille", which was based on the ES-355.
