The Gibson SG Standard 2010 is a solidbody electric guitar that continues the classic SG design with modern improvements for versatile performance. It features a mahogany body and neck that deliver the warm and resonant sound characteristic of Gibson instruments. The neck has a slim taper profile and is equipped with a rosewood fingerboard that allows comfortable playability over the entire 24.75 inch scale length. This model features a 22 fret fingerboard that offers a wide range for lead and rhythm playing.
The guitar is equipped with two Gibson Burstbucker pickups that deliver a vintage-inspired yet powerful sound suitable for blues, rock and heavier genres. It also features a Tune-o-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece for stable tuning and sustain.
