The Gibson Les Paul '59 Reissue 2011 in Gloss Lemon Burst is a faithful reproduction of the Les Paul Standard profile and features of the late 1950s, with a Gloss Lemon Burst finish over a carved AAA flamed maple top on a solid mahogany body. It features a rounded 1959-style neck profile (often referred to as mid-chunk), a glued-in mahogany neck, and a bound rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium frets and a 12-inch radius, giving the guitar the vintage feel of late 1950s Les Pauls. The hardware matches the details of the era: a nickel-plated Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece, Kluson tuning machines, and cream-colored binding on the top, back, and headstock. The headstock veneer features the historic Gibson logo and lettering typical of the Reissue series.
