The accompanying Shop Floor Traveler document identifies it as the “53 Tele Heavy Relic 2TS” and lists a 1951 Nocaster design with corresponding relic features as its basis.
The guitar features a two-piece ash body finished with an authentic-looking nitrocellulose lacquer. The heavyrelic finish gives it a distinctly aged look and conveys the character of a vintage instrument that has been played for decades. It is equipped with a single-ply, relic-finished parchment pickguard.
A particularly distinctive feature is the 52-style U-profile neck. The neck is made of plain-grain maple and features a 9.5″ fingerboard radius and 21 frets with 6105 fretwire. The nut width is listed as approximately 1.65″. The specifications also include vintage nickel tuning keys without a logo.
